Paul Thornton is the mushroom grower. Growing rare mushrooms was initially a lockdown hobby and has now become his livelihood. So much care and attention goes into Paul's mushrooms and they are top quality and Organic certified. Paul supplies Michelin star restaurants, the mushrooms are good enough for the top class chefs they are an amazing addition to Boxed Greens Veg boxes as an add on. Fresh, delicious gourmet mushrooms, grown with love in Lancashire. Wyreside Mushrooms is a small business with big dreams! Paul started the business in 2022 with his partner, Hayley, having been fascinated with mushrooms for over twenty years. The farm currently grows top quality gourmet mushrooms using sustainable materials and low impact methods to minimise their environmental impact. Specialising in gourmet mushrooms such as grey oyster, lions mane and king oyster mushrooms – this small farm proudly nurtures every step of the mushroom journey – from spore to fruit!

Loving the quality of the veg and fruit and I more than love love love how long it lasts if stored properly. Some items are still good to eat after 3 weeks. Supermarket stuff would be mush after a week
